This web site is intended to inform the interested diving public about the CCR O2ptima FX and CCR O2ptima or Closed Circuit Rebreather made by Dive Rite.
The support, training and diving offered on this web page are provided by Andreas W. Matthes a.k.a. Matt living currently in Playa del Carmen located within the Riviera Maya between Cancun and Tulum, in the State of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Matt is working and diving out of the ProTec Dive Center & Advanced Training Facility in Playa del Carmen.
The best Closed Circuit Rebreather O2ptima (a.k.a. Optima) diving and CCR O2ptima diver training possible is available through Matt's commitment to the art of safe CCR Rebreather diving.
The CCR O2ptima and O2ptima FX is a computer controlled Closed Circuit Rebreather with a 2.5 kilo axial Co2 absorbent cartridge ( Extend Air by Micropore ) that filters the Carbon Dioxide or Co2 out of the breathing gas circulating inside the breathing loop.
The electronicaly controlled CCR O2ptima is featuring two Hammerhead handset onboard computer controlers made by Juergensen Marine and change the Po2 while injecting oxygen into the breathing gas circulating inside the breathing loop to the demand and input of the diver.
The O2ptima CCR can be used as a nitrox unit, normoxic trimix unit and is trimix capable to a depth of more than 300 feet / 90 meters. CCR O2ptima Rebreathers are currently used in cave diving, wreck diving and technical diving aplications as well as recreational diving.
Training and purchase of a O2ptima CCR is available with Matt in Mexico, or world wide as I will travel to your location and train you in your local waters, caves, reefs or wrecks.
At my location in Mexico I offer Rebreather support in the form of selected Rebreather spare parts, Rebreather tank rental, bailout tank rental, Co2 absorbent (Extend Air, Sodasorb) as well as air and oxygen fills to 3000 psi - 200 bar.
