Closed Circuit Rebreather made by
Dive Rite.
The
CCR
O2ptima (a.k.a.
Optima) Rebreather and O2ptima FX
Rebreathers
are computer
controlled
Closed
Circuit
Rebreather
with a 2.5 kilo
axial
Co2
absorbent cartridge
(
Extend Air by Micropore )
that filters the
Carbon Dioxide or
Co2 out of the breathing gas
circulating inside the breathing loop.
The
electronicaly controlled CCR O2ptima Rebreather is featuring
two HammerHead handset
onboard computer controlers
made by
Juergensen Marine and change the Po2
while injecting
oxygen into the breathing gas
circulating inside the breathing loop to the demand and input of the
diver.
The O2ptima CCR can
be used as a
nitrox unit, normoxic
trimix unit and is trimix capable
to a depth of more than 300 feet /
90 meters.
CCR O2ptima Rebreathers are currently used in
cave diving,
wreck diving and
technical diving aplications as well as
recreational diving.
